When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”When you have a sense of purpose but don’t know which topics you actually own — or you’re stuck between too many possible topics and can’t name your genius zone, content territory, or audience-level categories. Also whenever you want to define, revisit, or refine your content buckets or expert zones.
When not to use it
Section titled “When not to use it”- For one-off idea generation → use
ideate. - For clarifying motivation and audience → use
discover-purpose.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Five steps: map expert zones (list 10–20, breadth first), find the One Big Key Zone (your center of gravity), find the Genius Zone (overlap the key zone with 2–3 secondary zones for the unfair-advantage intersection), translate to content buckets (General / Niche / Industry), and stress-test them for alignment, sustainability, specificity, and energy.
Produces
Section titled “Produces”expertise.md (the full zone list) and buckets.md (your buckets and topic territory) — both read by
ideate and the drafting skills.
